THE WILDEST DREAM
For this theatrical release feature documentary from Altitude Films, ZOO completed over 70 VFX shots. The greatest challenge was in building a photo-real CG Everest using real world data and stills from the expedition. We were then able to create a flythrough from Base Camp to summit along climbers' route - something that has never been seen before.

STAR OF BETHLEHEM - BEHIND THE MYTH
In this film from Atlantic Productions for the BBC, Discovery and FremantleMedia, ZOO delivered over 30 VFX shots. These included 3D animations of various real astronomical phenomena that the wise men could have seen and interpreted as the Star of Bethlehem, such as supernovae. We also created a series of innovative stylized animations of the Magi on their journey to Bethlehem.

EGYPT UNWRAPPED (also known as SECRETS OF EGYPT)
For this major eight-part series for National Geographic Channel, Five and FremantleMedia, ZOO produced over 150 VFX shots which included full reconstructions of ancient Alexandria, 3D x-ray illustrations explaining the layout of tombs in The Valley of the Kings, a digital facial recontruction of the 'Screaming Man' mummy.

LOST WORLDS Series 2
Zoo completed almost 800 CGI shots for this 20-hour series focusing on forgotten ancient and contemporary worlds. The challenge was to recreate lost cities and technologies whilst illustrating the scientific processes that went into their development and construction.
